This shift is happening faster than we can even think about the impact on our businesses. I mean Google has been spoon feeding me my search results and I didn’t think twice about it, just “oh! well isn’t that convenient,” until now. Companies like Vercel are seeing ChatGPT drive 10% of their new signups. According to them, it increased by 5.2% in ONE month (4.8% of sign ups from AI the month before). The point being, the shift is happening now and the ones who start optimizing will own these conversations while others are still figuring out what AI SEO even means. And you can do this while staying true to a strategic, authentic approach that makes businesses last. Save this post as your roadmap. Try one strategy when you’re ready then come back for the next. That’s a confidence leak. I used to think my hesitation around sharing my work was just part of being young in business. But here’s what I discovered: when your brand doesn’t match your expertise, it creates this constant low-level anxiety that shows up everywhere. You feel scattered showing up online. You dim yourself to fit what appears professional. But when your brand finally reflects who you really are and what you’re truly capable of? Your brand becomes this incredible foundation of confidence that you get to stand on every single day. Your energy doesn’t get scattered across different versions of yourself online. It flows consistently because your essence online finally reflect your true self. This is why I’m so passionate about strategic design. The work we do together isn’t just about creating a brand that attracts your ideal clients (though it absolutelyyyy does that). It’s about creating a brand that reminds you daily that you belong exactly where you are. What does your brand whisper to you when you’re about to hit “post” or “send”? This is the most vulnerable thing I’ve ever posted but I know I’m not the only one experiencing this... The thing about being a young entrepreneur is that everyone expects you to have endless confidence and energy. That our twenties should be about the “grind” or “hustle” - but what happens when your biggest obstacle isn’t lack of skill, it’s your own mind? I’ve been doing this money mindset work and it’s revealing patterns I didn’t even know I had. Like how I’ve been making business decisions from a place of fear instead of honoring the energy I bring to everything I create. The crazy part? The same limiting beliefs that make me want to throw my phone after sending a proposal, are the exact beliefs that would make my clients feel unworthy too. If I can’t own my value, how can I help them own theirs? This work is messy and uncomfortable, but it’s the most important investment I’ve made in my business.
